About CSHRA

A Brief History

The Colorado Springs Human Resources Association was formerly the Colorado Springs Personnel Women, Inc (CSPW). A prominent member of our community Cari Shaffer (then President) and other businesswomen formed CSPW in 1983-1984. In 1996, the then President Lili Suiter, and the Board of the CSPW requested the name change to Colorado Springs Human Resources Association (CSHRA). The name was officially changed in 1997. Today, CSHRA is growing with the same purpose and goals since 1983. Join us as we:

DISRUPT HR – Join the Rebellion – February 5, 2020 – The Pinery – 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

DisruptHR is a night of short, focused talks from professionals who want to share ideas on how we can move our talent thinking forward!
About this Event
Disrupt is an information exchange designed to energize, inform and empower people in the HR, leadership and business operations fields. You will network, cut loose (Shhhh…HR is OFF duty), and hear from the boldest and most innovative minds in a rapid-fire, ignite-style evening of speeches that are sure to challenge the tired and outdated business practices that business owners, leaders and professionals face on a daily basis.
The Line-up:
5:00 pm – Let’s get ready to disrupt! It’s time for networking, the (cash) bar opens and snacking begins (did someone say Pulled Pork Sliders and Nachos Bar)! Check in, grab a name tag, network, eat, drink, loosen up, and get ready to disrupt.
5:45 pm – We turn it up with some introductions and the first group of speakers.
Dance Break – Networking, bar refills, and bio break time.
6:30 pm (ish) – Second half and final group of speakers.
7:15 pm (or so) – You are headed home to dream of disrupting your organization!
Get ready for a great evening of innovative, engaging, and energizing ideas!

We will be supporting a charitable organization, Community Partnership for Childhood Development (CPCD), at this event. In support we encourage you to bring knit hats, gloves. and/or mittens for children ages 0-7 that can be provided to those in need by CPCD. If you’d like to know more about this organization, check out www.cpcdheadstart.org and visit them at the event!
